The food court

"Rgghhhhgggg." His stomach lets out a growl he scratched the back of his head. "Some food would be nice." She smiles "ok to the food court!" They walk through the entrance of the mall. "Delilah!?" They turn around to see a very attractive black woman around five six with the biggest breast he has ever seen, She has a narrow face, brown eyes, she isn't wearing much a black tank top and shorts that stop at her upper thigh I also notice she is wearing sandals on her beautiful feet. Her body was as toned as Delilah's but not as curvy. "Amanda?" "Oh my god!" they run toward each other and hug. Delilah grabs her hands and pulls her towards Antonio. "Amanda this is Antonio." "Antonio this is Amanda." "Wait is this THE Antonio?" "The one and only." Delilah responds. Amanda looks him up and down "Damn girl he's fine." "I know right I don't think he has noticed the change yet." His cheeks are tinting red. He clears his throat "I'm right here you know?" "We know." "So you don't have to talk about me like I'm not!" his tone is slightly exasperated. "What change haven't I." He starts to notice his pants feel a little looser than they were before he looks down to see his shirt looks about a size or two too big for him. He looks at his arms their tone and defined needless to say he's speechless. He just stares at himself for another moment wondering if somehow he had switched bodies with someone else. "rrrrggggghhhh." His train of though is broken as his stomach lets out another growl. The girls just giggle at him. "I think he finally noticed Amanda." "What happened to me?" Amanda looks at Delilah "so you didn't tell him yet huh?" "ugh." Delilah sighs. "No I started to tell him about our history but I was interrupted." "Oh yeah I saw you rushing over to that Pugo what was that all about?" Antonio feels a pang of hurt go through his heart as he remembers what happened this morning. Delilah looks at him with concern in her eyes but he waves her off. She looks back at Amanda "I'll fill you in at the briefing." "Ok I'll see you two love birds later." She walks away Delilah has a slightly annoyed look on her face.

"geez." She sighs. "Man she can be dense sometimes." She wraps her arm in his "so to the food court?" "Yes I'm starving." As they make their way to the food court they walk past groups of random people talking and laughing he can't help but stare at them. They're passing some weird sights in his opinion so far he has seen a humanoid frog talking to to a woman with the features of a cat. Another one that throws him for a loop is a beautiful red woman with small horns and bat wings kissing a female snake kin. Looking at the female snake reminded him of Annabel. What was she doing out in the woods? Was it some form of punishment? "Ok here it is." He snaps from his thoughts to a familiar sight something that brought him mild comfort. Food and it looked a lot like the food that he had back on his old earth. "Shall we?" She takes the lead and heads over to what looks like a burger joint he follows close behind her. She looks up at the menu "I'll have a medium cheeseburger meal." What are you having Antonio?" He looks up at the menu and see the pound burger meal it comes with the usual fries drink but the burger had a pound of beef how can he pass that up. "I'll have a medium pound burger meal." "That will be eleven dollars and sixty seven cents." He tries not to stare at the man but it's hard not to he has the face of a shark his hands are webbed and he has a mouth full of razor sharp teeth. He hands them their cups "your meal will be ready in ten minutes." he states in a chipper tone. Well at least he was a nice...whatever his kind is.

Delilah and Antonio go to look for a seat, he's not even surprised that the chairs and tables are hovering off the ground. She looks at him "I'm surprised at your ability to adapt so quickly I half expected you to run and hide when you saw the Drax taking our order", so that's what they're called. He shrugs "I knew you would squash it like a bug if it tried anything." She kisses his cheek he gives her a questioning look "what was that for?" She smiles at him "nothing in particular." They finally take a seat in the bottom right corner of the room Delilah gets up and grabs his cup so what do you want to drink. He thinks for a moment do they they have any brands that he knows of...probably not. "Surprise me." She walks over to a machine with no nozzle that he can see she places the cups on to it she says something to the machine...it was probably voice command like everything else here. Surely enough after she finishes talking a nozzle comes out of the machine and fills their cups to the brim and then two mechanized arms come out and place lids onto the cups. Delilah grabs two straws from a nearby stand and walks back to him cups in hand. "Here try this." She hands him his cup, the cup is made of plastic so he can see it's a brown liquid he bring the straw to his lips and suck the sweet and cold liquid hits his tongue it taste familiar then it hits him. THIS IS PEPSI! He pull the straw from his lips "Delilah what's this stuff called?" "Pepsi." He was over joyed to find that amongst all these weird and strange things around him he could still find something familiar. "So what didn't you tell me?" He ask curiously.

She walks back and places it on the table, they quietly sit there and eat his mind begins to wonder something was bugging him if he was able to absorb magic that means his gene has already been infused, Plus how was he able to absorb magic in a dream. As they finished eating and threw the garbage away he wanted the answers to these questions. "Delilah how am I able to absorb magic in a dream, also how can I absorb magic at all?" She gives him a sad smile "the night your parents died." suddenly he remembers the white ball of light that went into his body. "That's when you did it that was what the white ball of light was for." "So that explains one thing but what about the dream?" This question seems to brighten her mood she presses her forehead to his "that's simple we share dreams." "When people like us share a deep enough bond connection these things can happen." She moves away from him. "Now I believe we have to get you some new clothes."
