The follow-up can't come soon enough

Eager to get on with the new you, you call Amber the next day hoping for an opening...

"You already scheduled a follow-up, doll. It's tonight, remember?"

That's funny, you don't recall making that appointment... but then the end of your last visit was somewhat hazy, so you and Dr. Carvigo must have agreed on a time.

You head to the office after work, no longer nervous as you enter - Amber smiles when she sees you.

"Look at that confident stride. Dr. Carvigo's helping you already." You try to play the part of confidence, but you're not there yet. Now in a pencil skirt and tight button up, Amber intimidates the hell out of you, half because she's a gorgeous woman and half because she could snap you like a Slim Jim.

You sit on the couch...

"Would you mind getting me a water?" Amber looks at you expectantly, a pencil at her lips. The water cooler is on the opposite side of the office... you oblige and walk to get her a water. As you turn, however, you notice her staring at you - not your face, but further south... Wait a minute, was she checking out your ass?

Confused, you bring her the water, and as she takes it from your hand, she strokes your knuckles. Her smiles widens with a predatory glean.

You're frozen in place. You didn't think these confidence lessons would pay off that fast!

"You know, I can always reschedule you for another day. I'm sure the Doctor wouldn't mind. We never managed to finish our... onboarding process." You wonder if you're imagining the hunger in her eyes... and at that second the Doctor calls out through the intercom.

"Send him in, Amber."
