The first morning

Daphne awoke the next morning with the bright light of day washing over the cabin's open living room.

Tom was asleep up against her from behind on the floor. They were under the thick warm blankets provided to them the night before. Angie was also asleep on the floor nearby while Chad and Jo were both on their own Sofa and Jo covered in thick blankets. Daphne appeared to be the first one awake.

Daphne stretched her arms over her head with a quiet yawn. The towel was no longer wrapped around her body and was bunched up by her feet.
