The first battle of Geonosis

Above the skies of Geonosis you could see the battle unleashing beneath you. Unlike in the movies, this time your clones were advancing under the cover of an artillery barrage from your Star Avengers overhead and many of the battle droids still had their rudimentary programming. Making them brainless and aimless, the battle here was ultimately hardly a true battle. Simply your clones were simply moping up the survivors of your cruisers' barrage.

Still you had a choice, it would not be hard to take Count Dooku into custody, and end the Clone Wars before it begins. But that would throw things into a completely unpredictable path, and you had much you wished to do during the clone wars proper.

"Angel, we don't want to capture Dooku, we want to keep things going. But Obi-Wan and Anakin will try to capture him and almost get themselves killed. We need to follow them and save them, especially since Yoda won't be here to bail them out" you order to her.

"Of course Master" she responded, pulling out of her own lightsaber.

"In any case I need an update" you said before pulling out your holocommunicator. Displayed was the Elara clone in charge of your forces "So how's it going?"

"The enemy lacks discipline or tactics, and we took them by surprise. Our bombardment is decimating both their armour forces and most of their forces... One thing of concern sir. While these new battledroids are in disarray I estimate that in a one on one battle against a Shepard clone they would win 3 times out of ten, 4 times out of ten for an Elara clone” she explained, with her usual lovely accent.

You frown slightly “those are hardly bad figures”

“But it will mean our army will not be able to win against overwhelming **** sir” she explained.

“A good thing, this will ensure that the clone wars aren’t too one sided. In any case I assume the droid army is retreating?” you ask to which she nodded.

“Yes sir, we should be finished by tomorrow morning” she explained.

“Good, I shall deal with Dooku” you reply, turning off the communicator as you and Angel soared to the Count’s location.
