The fight continues

"Damn, the pain!" Cammy cried. "I've been waiting for this kind of fight!"

Cammy rolled to the side, got back to her feet in a crouching position, and then leapt forward like a bullfrog. She collided into Shadow with tremendous ****, and the duo catapulted off the floor, defying gravity for two seconds. They rolled onto the floor, fists flying and feet lunging. Adam pounded the SEAL's face as hard as he could, ignoring the agony he felt in his knuckles.

"That's it, kangaroo-boy!" Cammy cried. "Gimme your best shot!" The blond managed to swing herself on top of Shadow, who took the opportunity to grab the soldier gal's arms and employ the principle of turning her weight into an asset. Adam placed the sole of his foot against the girl's stomach for leverage and flipped the girl over his head. The blond hit the floor with a crash that shook the ring.

Shadow Ape got to his feet and delivered double roundhouse kicks to the blond's body before she could get up. Cammy definitely seemed stunned. But when Adam tried it a second time, the SEAL grabbed his ankle, twisted it, and **** Shadow to spin in midair. He landed on the floor with a thud.

"I know that move, Adam. Not military regulation, dude." The blond stood. She hadn't started to bruise up yet, but signs of their struggle would begin to appear in the next few days. "The feel of battle. More addictive than nicotine, huh?"

"Only fools trust their life to a weapon, kid," Adam replied (an irony; the duo only had a six-year age difference). His leg twitched a bit; the twist Cammy had given it was still aching like crazy. The voice of Captain Miller began yelling at him: "What's your problem, kid? Ignore the pain! Show this skinny broad who's the better soldier!"
