Chapter 7 by wicker wicker

What's next?

The fair

I settled down at the fair. The fair turned out to be a community event. It was part farmer's market, part carnival. It had a stage set up for performers, a big tent where the farmers were selling their goods, another tent where local artists sold their wares, and a group of booths. A big sign hung up over the entrance to where the booths were: Mount Royale College Annual Fair Fundraiser! It seems sororities and fraternities and clubs from the local liberal arts college set up booths to raise money for charity. There was a face painting booth, a caricature artist, a dunking booth, a booth where a contestant could throw darts at a board full of balloons to win a prize, a make-your-own arts and crafts booth, a booth for people to dress up in costumes and have their photos taken in period dress, and a fortune teller booth. I figured this could be worth a look. What really caught my eye was the dunking booth which was being put on by the college's Gamma Delta Delta sorority. I looked around and sighed. I closed my eyes and a few hours went by. I opened them and there were more people around including a couple of bus-loads of students and their teachers. Now, things were bustling.

what to do?
