The factions

Lindsey and Susan plotted their next move. The Royal Magnificence had an influence of 23%. The Crazy Carousel were only slightly lower with 22%. Blue Sublime had an influence of 18%. The student council had 4%.

The remaining 33% were controlled by around 20 minor factions known as Lords. Daniel used to be one of those before he joined the Crazy Carousel. Because most of these factions tended to have around 3 or 4 boys, they were often dismissed as a bunch of unruly morons who were too prideful to ally with each other.

But Lindsey had spent enough time around them to see they actually had potential. She knew many of them actually allied with each other without the big three even knowing about it. It wasn't because they did so secretly.

The big three factions just never paid attention. The problem was that it still wasn't enough to keep up with the big three but it meant that there were some powerful factions that Lindsey could ally with, increasing the power of the Royal Magnificence.

The problem was that as far as the Lords were concerned, the three factions were all as bad as each other.

They didn't see any point in getting involved. What difference would it make if Gina got overthrown by one of her lackeys or if the Crazy Carousel or Blue Sublime absorbed the faction into itself? They just didn't feel they had any stake in it as all sides of the conflict seemed to be completely evil with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Another problem was that if they made too obvious a power grab, Marel and Lauren would not remain silent.
