The eye

Jake touched the image of the eye. Immediately, the writing and the other image faded, and the eye grew to take over the whole surface. The lines swirled, losing their shape, then solidified into the shape of a tall man. Jake blinked, and the man was real, and standing in front of him. He was taller than a normal human being, and wore a formal suit. On his head sat a top hat.

"Hello", the man said with a bow. "I am Baron Saturday."

He winked at Jake. The Baron's eyes were just like the image; they reflected a flame that was not present. Jake shivered despite himself.
