After a fun day like that he was thinking how could he top this. He always walked to his home after school but today, when he gotten out of the school yard he saw Naomi waiting for him.
He went to her and asked “Hey Naomi, why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to be at work?” She explained that Jane ordered her to get a half day off from her work and made her wait for Matt. Jane wanted Naomi to give a ride to him.
Matt called the Barnes home with the hopes of getting Jane on the phone and he gotten what he wanted when Jane answered and said “Hello, this is Jane.” Matt wanted to play with her a little so he answered “Don’t you know your Master phone number by heart?” Matt was able to hear Jane’s heart beat over the phone, then he heard her answer “I’m really sorry Master, I was exercising. I wasn’t able to look at the phone number.”
Matt knew this had to be a lie but he didn’t care what she was doing so he wanted to get to the point “Jane I wan’t you to stop ordering your mother out of her job. She needs that job to satisfy your families needs.” Jane said he was right but her intentions were all positive so she simply promised to do not make the same mistake again and hang up the phone.
