"Please step back. The doors will now close."
"NOOOO!" Fuuka screamed again, and dove for the doors, just in time for them to slam helplessly shut before her. She got up, winding her thin fingers in between the door, pulling for dear life, even leaning a leg up to try and give it additional leverage.
It was useless. The doors were shut tight. The train went quiet... and to Fuuka's horror, all the lights went out. Whoever had been driving had left, and she was trapped in the train... alone, and worse of all, naked.
"W, what am I going to do..." She whispered to herself deliriously as she sat down in the darkness, rubbing her sides weakly.
Fuuka soon felt exhaustion take over. She slowly leaned to the side, shaking as she let unconsciousness overtake her. Maybe she'd wake up and this would just be all one horrible dream.
She awoke, tense and alarmed. Her hands went to her sides, pushing herself up into a seated posture. It wasn't dark anymore. The train was well lit, in fact. It had to be morning. She could get out!
By the time Fuuka felt herself waking up to this reassuring thought, she saw the doors open before her.
The first thing the crowd of commuters saw upon entry was an upright girl, hands at her sides, legs slightly ajar, wearing nothing but a terrified expression.
"Oh no..."
Before she could react further, the doors closed, and Fuuka tried to tell herself it couldn't be any worse.
It wasn't until the train next stopped at her high school that she was proven more wrong than ever.
