Chapter 4
What interrupted her?
The doorbel rang
Kirsten and Sarah turned around.
"Shit they're early." Sarah said as she stood up.
Kirsten came after her but was stopped.
"Ho ho ho, you're not working today. Sit down and relax a little."
She smiled as she sat back down. While browsing Instagram she could hear Sarah talk to the father at the door. The kid was brought in and put in front of a TV showing the Teletubbies. Sarah came back to the office but gestured Kirsten to come.
"Let's just sit over here so I can keep an eye. The kid can't speak for another year anyways."
They sat down at the table in the center. There Sarah started explaining.
"So the first part is about secrets. People keep a lot of secrets, much more than they need to. If I asked you how much you earned you'd naturally feel weird about answering that question, even though I am your boss and control your paycheck."
Kirsten nodded.
"So today is about letting go of all your secrets. You probably keep many more things a secret than you'd need to, and letting those go is like dropping a heavy bag."
"So... I have to tell you all my secrets?" Kirsten asked. This felt a bit weird. Although she and Sarah were good friends, and she could practically tell her anything, she didn't feel very pleased with the direction this was going.
"Good start, but I mean a bit more than that."
