The cinema

Gerald walked to the local cinema. He listened to the thoughts of the patrons and realized that some were going to movies that they knew they would not enjoy simply to keep their boyfriends/girlfriends/friends happy. Gerald decided such devotion/friendship should be rewarded.

He systematically went into the minds of the girls who were dragging their boyfriends along to the latest 'chick flick' and made it so that they would be inspired by the romance on screen. Any kiss they saw would make them want to kiss their boyfriends and any love scenes would make them horny and inspire them to invite their boyfriends back to their bedrooms after the movie to 'make out' or 'make love', depending on their ages.

For the girls being dragged along to the newest action movie he tried something different. He convinced their boyfriends that 'real men', like the action heroes in the film, never left a woman unsatisfied and that they (the boyfriends) wanted to be like that. However he also made sure the girls would enjoy action movies more than they had previously by making them feel a little jolt of pleasure every time there was a gunshot and having them silently feel as if they were climaxing, without actually doing so, whenever there was an explosion. Although surprised they wouldn't be embarrassed about it, but they also wouldn't tell anyone either. He knew it was kind of wrong, but at least they'd enjoy the movie now.

He changed all the people going to the horror movie so any fear they felt would be stored up and converted to sexual arousal the moment they got home.

He then went around those going 'for their friends'. One girl liked her friend's brother (and thought he liked her back) but was too afraid of ruining her friendship to do anything about it. Gerald convinced said sister that she loved the idea of her brother dating her friend and would actively try to set them up. Another guy was going with a group of 'friends' (who actually had a very low opinion of him) to the horror movie to prove he wasn't the wimp they said he was, despite the fact he was terrified, because he had a crush on one of the girls. Gerald changed the guy so he would find himself getting braver and more confident with every scary scene, changed the rest of the group so they would respect him afterward and changed the girl he liked so she would loose all respect for her boyfriend (who Gerald decided wouldn't get to enjoy his movie like the others) and would decide to ask the former 'wimp' to take her home and to help her deal with the sudden rush of desire she would feel when she got there. Another girl was going with her friends to the horror movie, even though she didn't like horror in the hopes that a specific girl would want to hold her hand and hug her during the movie. Gerald decided to allow both the girl and the object of her affection to feel the conversion of fear to sexual arousal the moment they touched instead of waiting till they got home. It wouldn't make the 'object of affection' gay or bi if she wasn't already, but if she was it would certainly help the lesbian's chances.

All this thinking about sex had made Gerald want some of his own. He looked around for someone to 'help him'.
