The building next door

Teiko led me out of the dorm.
"Where are you taking me? I thought you wanted to show me my room?"
"Don't worry, we have several buildings here, you just live one further down the street.
We passed the main building and entered the house behind it. On the second floor, a young woman was waiting for us. She was maybe in her late twenties, slim and wearing rather casual clothes.
"Hello Mr. Linder, my name is Hina Kato, I'm responsible for the administration of the dorm rooms." We went to a door at the end of the floor.
"Welcome to your kingdom," Ms. Kato said as she opened the door to my room. Actually, it was more like a small apartment.
In the entrance area there was a small kitchen, the door on the back wall led straight into a bathroom with a small bathtub. Left and right of the kitchen there were two doors.
You live in the right room and share the kitchen and bathroom with Miyu Toriyama, who is still in the summer holidays and will not be back until next week."
I signed the paperwork and Mrs. Kato gave me the keys to my room and said goodbye.
I looked around. In my room was a large wardrobe, a desk, a bookshelf and a bed. In the middle was a square, flat Japanese dining table, the floor was laid out with rice mats.
My bags stood in front of the bed.
Teiko looked through the door. "Do you still need help with something?"
"No, I think I'll be fine."
Teiko took a note from her pocket and wrote something down.
"Here you have my mobile number and the number of Ayaka. If you need something, just call or write us a message."
"Well ... there is one thing left." I said.
