The brownstone

The three of us land outside of a non-descript building on the outskirts of town. The flight there the girls filled me in on the basics, who to talk to, whom to avoid , which members I shouldnt look in the eye. (They might take it as a challange) "There really all very nice people Johnny, but...well.." "Their weird." Courtney buts in.

I inhale and exhale trying to summmon my nerve before going to the door. (Mostly because I dont have a CLUE as to what I'll face in there.) Courtney and Kara seem to notice my aprehenshion and come up to me. "It'll be ok Johnny, we're right beside you." Kara whispers into my ear as she and Court give me a quick hug.

I smile warmly to them as I lead the way to the door step. I'm about to knock when the door opens. I jump back in alarm slightly, I'm greated by a man wearing a trench coat, fedora, and a gold mask. Kara pops up behind me and waves happly. "HI Sandy!" I look to Courtney for help. "Sanderson Hawkins, the Sandman." She whispers.

Sandman seems to ignore Kara and he leans closer to me. "...So you'r him huh?..." I just nod. he starts down the hall, The girls and I run to catch up. The three if us try few times to engage him in conversation (He ignored us.)

We ended up in a large meating hall. Court and Kara gave me a small tour while we waited for the others. I tryed to be freindly to them but I just couldnt get the whole Idea of where I was into my head.

Our repreve ended when Sandman returned with two others, Namely Doctor Fate and Doctor Midnight. "Ah Mr.Smith hello, I'm sorry that it's only the three of us but the others are out at the Moment." I shake hands with Fate and Midnight and we head to the table.

Fate leans over to me "Hmm... I'm not EXACTLY sure...but there is something about you." I scoot back abit at Fates wierdness. "Excuse him John, He's not right in the head." Me and the girls chuckle abit. "Your pretty famous around here son, winning Kara AND courtneys heart, AND curbing her accident's." "Dont worry though even though your now a full member of the JSA you wont be required to do much, Just keep those two happy and we'll be square.

Courtney and Kara both giggle at the remark and cuddle up to me. Seeing this both Fate and Midnight both laugh out loud. Sandman just grunts, The wrest of the time we spent there was pretty fun, Midnight made us lunch, Fate gave me a box that I was told to open later in the day. We also had a larger tour of the Brownstone and as me and the girls where about to leave I was handed another package with the JSA logo on the front and my name below it.

Midnight thrusted his hand out and I happly took it. "Dont be a stranger now you three, and remember John your welcome here anytime you wish. The others will want to meet you as well." I give him a grin as I shake his hand. "I'll keep that in mind Doc. Nice to meet you three." I wave at Sandman, Fate and Midnight as Kara grabs me around the waist and takes off.

"Well that went better then expected, Do you girls think I did ok?" I ask with genuine consern. "Oh Johnny, you worry to much. You did fine!" Kara tells me as she hugs me closer. "We where lucky, if Ted was there he might have made you do a fitness test before he let you leave, and believe me Johnny...you would have failed." "NO OFFENCE THOUGH!!" Courtney yelps as she flies near me.

I chuckle abit at her antics.
