Finally, you make a decision that you are satisfied with, and are only disappointed that you don't know what kind of face you're now making with the smile that runs across it.
"What... What does that mean, Sir?" she asks you hesitantly.
"Good," you reply, rubbing your hands together. "That's a good way to address me at the open."
"'The open' of what, Sir?" she asks, her eyes suddenly wide.
"Open the door to my office, and go back to your desk," you tell her in a monotone voice, pointing past her face. "Then, I want you to call {LAST_NAME} to see me. However, stop her when she gets to you, and tell her that I have instructed you to be an intermediary between us, both for actions and conversations."
She stutters at first. However, she finally just nods, with the focus seemingly on looking down.
"Yes... Yes, Sir," she says.
You remain silent, and also motionless outside of a simple final nod, watching as she exits the office, the door closing unassisted behind her.
