Chapter 10 by robyna robyna

What hit him?

The alpha product... on the marketing mockup

Almost panicked, Rick jumped into the dumpster after his box.

Surely they couldn't have been that careless, could they? Except who except him knew that he'd used alpha-sample packaging in his first mockup.

Bio-DNA had gone through a lot of changes between its first alpha delivery and the final polished product. Rick had a lot to do with that, putting emphasis on the mobile app's user interface, an interface that let ultra-rich users sculpt their bodies and their minds from within. The alpha version hadn't had any of that. Compared to the final product, it was trash. But he didn't have a million dollars a dose to spend on the final product.

His hands closed on the closed cardboard box and he yanked it from the gunk and refuse in the bottom of the bin, then hopped out of the bin with his treasure cradled in his arms. "Please be here," he muttered to himself. "Please make that security guard as stupid as he'd looked."

Was it there?
