The alarm never goes off and she is late for school

Lydia was not awaken by the normal annoying beeping sound that would haunt her monday mornings, but rather by the sound of birds outside. She quickly went to check her phone which was dead since she forgot to put it on charge before falling asleep yesterday. Now panicking even more she started to undress her pajamas while waiting for her phone to restart thanks to the charger when she realizes something special about today.
