The Wrong Side of Town

You're not really sure how you got sidetracked today on your way to school, but when you come to yourself after letting your mind wander, you find you've stumbled into the "bad" part of town. From what you hear, there's a lot of gang activity here and it can be dangerous here after dark. There are a few seedy pawn shops, some strip clubs, a couple less reputable adult book stores, that kind of thing.

You're not really worried about your safety here because your dad, when he was still around, was both feared and respected in this place and as a result, you're left alone for the most part by the more dangerous types. You also don't cause trouble, and that helps. Most just treat you like a harmless part of the scene.

It should be noted that your dad also had a lot of old flames in this neighborhood that know of you. You're probably the only one in your family that knows your dad was fucking around. You never told mom, and she wouldn't believe you anyway. Some of them are still pretty hot even now.

Still, you make to backtrack and get to school when someone recognizes you and stops you to say hi.
