What Add-Ons and Expansions can We Expect?

The Wild Thornberrys Expansion

Sometimes idea or concept is so good that it just asked to be stolen. It unclear where or when Jumanji learn about “The Wild Thornberrys” but it like enough to rip one of its characters out of cartoon and make him a part of the game. The Wild Thornberrys is an animated tv-series focuses around a nomadic family of documentary filmmakers known as the Thornberrys, famous for their televised wildlife studies. It primarily centers on the family's younger daughter Eliza, and her secret gift of being able to communicate with animals, which was bestowed upon her after having rescued a shaman masquerading as a trapped warthog.

Shaman Mnyambo

Mnyambo was a shaman from the Zimrimba tribe who believed that Animal and Human spirits joined together. But Mnyambo was known to have a hatred for animals, and after eating the High Shaman's prize sheep, the High Shaman placed Mnyambo under a spell to be a warthog and the only way to reverse it is for a human, who really cared for him, to save him. Being stuck as warthog for many years, has let him believe that no one would have to care for a ugly warthog like him.

If the player frees him from a trap, he will transform back into human. Mnyambo is grateful to Player for saving him and breaking the spell, that he offers the player a reward of his choosing.

  • Take the Player as an apprentice
  • Treasure
  • Magical Trinket
  • The Ability to Talk with Animals

If the Player choose the ability to talk animals, it come with a price: you can only speak animal and not human. The Player can find Mnyambo and ask him undo the spell. Mnyambo can decide to cast a very hard spell that will allow the Player talk to both humans and animals (or cause him to grow a second head) but warn the Player that is he tells anyone about his secret, the powers will go away forever.
