The Viridian City Municipal Hospital

You wake up in an unfamiliar place and are almost panicked, but as you sit up suddenly and look around in worry and fear, you realize that this is a hospital room. Pallet Town, though it's become a much bigger municipal unit than it used to be, still doesn't have its own hospital, so you imagine that you are in Veridian City. You're not sure how you got here, but you suspect it may have involved a care-flight by one of the hospital helicopters. You probably have missed several days of training, but what's important is you've survived.

"Hello, is anyone there?" You croak, but no one responds, at least for the moment. You can feel that you are covered with bandages, dozens of them, swathing you almost from head to toe, especially your face and arms. Your eyes are clear though: you were very careful to ward off attacks towards them. You feel that you have an IV in your arm, and see that there are several drip bags hung on a 'smart feed' pole connected to it. You can't read what they are/do, but you are going to hazard the guess that they include saline, a nutrient solution, and some kind of painkiller. You also feel that under the bandages there are monitoring pads stuck to your scalp, and, worse, that your head seems to have been shaved in order to put them on... You don't have time to worry about that though because a voice comes over the intercom.

"Ah, Miss Dainichi, you are awake! I'll send one of the nurses in shortly, just rest for now." The voice says. You have no idea who just spoke but she clearly wasn't one of the "Nurse Joys"...

Like the "Officer Jennys" the "Nurse Joy" contingent that administers most Pokémon Centers these days are all clones of one woman, the legendary Nurse Yorokobi Hikaru, which translates into "Unity Standard Language" as 'Shining-Light of Joy'. How Nurse Yorokobi Hikaru became the template for 20% of the nursing staff in the world is a state secret, but it is known that she did so at the age of only 18, before she was even a fully accredited nurse... It also is a little-known fact that Nursing Doctor/Doctor of Nursing Philosophy Yorokobi Hikaru Prime is a second cousin twice removed of S.S.S.A. Jennifer Minamoto Prime, the template from which all of the "Officer Jenny's" were created. These two women are held up as examples for women everywhere to emulate, and their clones form a voting bloc that helps keep the World Unity Government on its path of stability, peace, and "Meritocracy".

You lie on the bed waiting, then suddenly remember Mister Moon! 'Where is he?!' You think in panic, but when you try to sit up the sudden spike of pain forces you back down...

A minute or so later, one of the exact individuals just discussed comes into the room.

"Hello Miss Jun Dainichi, did you sleep well?" Nurse Joy asks.

"I didn't have any nightmares, so I guess so: but where's Mister Moon?" You ask...
