The Talk

After Breakfast Mrs. Anderson leads you and your mom to a sitting room. You sit across from Mrs. Anderson and your mom. A Maid quickly serves tea, and Mrs. Anderson starts off.

“This town was founded by Mr. Anderson’s father. He believed that many people were born in the wrong bodies. That is to say, he believed that some men were born with women's brains and some women were born with men's brains. He believed that if we could get the brain and body to match most of today’s problems would cease. He developed a way to change the body to match their brain. It turns men with female brains into fully functional women, and women with male brains into fully functional men. The water contains the process. The whole town is part of this ongoing study.”

Mrs. Anderson looks at you and says, “If you want to go on this path you have chosen, consider that you may end up as a fully functional girl. Now Parker what is it you really want and how far do you want to go?”

You think for a minute and say, “I would like to become a girl. I saw my Mom and Mr. Anderson fucking in the library. I saw my mom’s face. I want to feel what she felt in that moment.”

Your mom has tear in her eyes. “Parker I never wanted you to know. I work as Mr. Anderson’s personal assistant, but I also have another job for Mr. Anderson. I am …”
