The Summoning...

The one that has always captured Jack's heart, as an Anime character, was Toph Beifong. The beautiful blind girl who was, strong, cheerful, with such an amazing fighting spirit for life while having such a stubborn and fiercely independent will (here Jack could understand and relate to her as he was part of a large family and that his siblings and parents had been abit, restrictive and sometimes overbearing, because Jack was always the "Baby" of the family).

Jack loved his family, but they did like to meddle sometimes, the last fight with his family had been over his campus accommodation. But in the end he had convinced them by showing them that he could work a night bar job to pay for it. Best of all it was located above and behind the "Hells Gate" Bar which made it convenient as it was in easy walking distance to the University. His Flat was in fact an empty floor of disused rooms that he had staked out, as an agreement with the owner, who saw Jack as a potential management trainee.

Sighing and thinking about life and where it had lead him so far, Jack looked at the picture of Toph in the Notebook and then decided to just do it. Jack wrote in Toph's page several things he wanted changed and some that are very personal to him. Then as Jack finished, he looked up and he stared in incomprehension at a light that glowed in front of him. Jack didn't even notice as the Notebook dropped away from his hands to fall onto his recycled couch besides him. In his mind, Jack now struggled to accept that he was actually the "Master of Anime", as the light intensified and Jack watched, transfixed, as the glowing ball of light began to form into something in the center of his living room. The light became too brilliant and Jack tried to shield his eyes. Then the light decreased and Jack slowly opened his eyes to see a figure, a being, a real human being, begin to assemble or collect in front of him and to his complete astonishment it was Her!
