The Study

With a start, I realised I was standing in the middle of a room and no idea who I got here. Normally, you’d expect to panic at having suddenly found oneself in a random room like this but I just stood there calmly.

I was standing just passed the door of what looked like some sort of bedroom/study. To my right, along the wall, was a single bed with standard, dull fittings. Along the wall opposite to myself was a window and under is was a desk, the desk was covered up however, and I couldn’t tell if there was a computer or anything really under the dark grey covers.

Along the left wall, there appeared to be a walk-in wardrobe that ended in an ensuite bathroom. Beside the wardrobe was the final notable feature in the form of a mirror. Like one of those man sized mirrors, easily taller than my own eye level.

Almost against my will, I turn to the mirror and see . . .
