The Sectors of the Old World

The Old World contains two of the strongest sectors.

Seren sector is a human dominated sector. They were the first ones to traverse the stars. They have the best weapons, the best armors, the best ships, the best everything. Seren is the name of the original human homeworld, now a wasteland where humans throw their garbage.

Karnis sector is a Rnis dominated sector. They had war oriented technology, and when humans attacked them for the first time they destroyed them with ease. It took them longer to develop starships, and mostly they did by reverse engineering human ships. When they finally did, they pushed the humans all the way back to their homeworld, and destroyed it.

Humans learned to avoid them, and strike back with surprise attacks from their more mobile fleet. Finally, when new technology that allowed further exploration was invented, both sides had enough losses so they agreed to stop the war and look to expand in other directions.

However there are still bad relations between those two sectors, and maybe that is a good thing for the rest of the galaxy.
