The Sectors of the New World

The New World has 4 sectors. The natives of those sectors enjoy more freedom than those of the Old World, but that is only if they don't have some important resource that someone from the Old World would want.

The Droid Sector was created when humans created the first droids that were even smarter than AI. When one day the humans realized that their new droids had started developing feelings, they wanted to destroy all of them. However they decided that risking a war against their own machines was a very bad idea, so instead they banished them to this sector. There are still natives, but for the rest of the Galaxy this sector is always remembered as the sectors with the droids. Luckily the those droids are as a general rule very peaceful.

The Outlaw Sector was originally colonized by the Seren Sector. They sent their scientists on their colonies to perform genetic experiments on the natives who lived there. After decades of exploitation, the first rebels appeared and since then the natives of this sector are fighting hard to chase away the humans of the Seren Sector. Luckily the sector is large enough, and only some areas are impacted by the constant warfare.

The Outer Colonies were split almost equally between the Seren Sector and the Karnis Sector, to avoid any new wars. However this didn't work well, as both sides felt that the resources weren't equally distributed. Today, the situation is a really weird one with both sides being always ready for battle, but only daring to solve their disputes through diplomacy, intimidation, or by manipulating the natives to turn towards one side or the other. Thus, the life of the natives can be summarized by this; if you hear someone saying "You are from the Outer Colonies, aren't you." he means that you are too lucky.

The Eriss Empire was already united under the Eriss race before the Rnis had a chance to conquer it. Fearing that starting a war at this side would allow humans to strike them down, they decided to profit from the Eriss Empire through trading and all kinds of deals. It was a good decision, as Eriss don't need shit to live and they usually care for luxury and comfort more than anything.
