The Ruins with a Ring

They dropped off Trax at a safe village and after retrieving the map from Talon's home, the duo of DEBUG_HERO and Talon continued their quest for the ring of Daenar. It was another week of travelling before they reached this destination. A week that went much smoother than the initial leg of DEBUG_HERO's journeys for this ring. It was even better for the company. Talon was buxom and more than willing to flaunt it. She had continued sleeping with DEBUG_HERO and making sure he got all of his accumulated sexual tension from watching her all day out each night. She still wouldn't let him talk during sex and was silent near constantly, but the sex was great.

All in all, DEBUG_HERO enjoyed the week of travel.

Now they stood before a ruined castle. Ruined_castle_2 was the location of the ring that had started this wild adventure and had brought a beautiful and sexual lady into DEBUG_HERO's life. He looked at it with a feeling of satisfaction, knowing that soon he would have his prize. A pale woman walked along one of the broken ramparts watching him before disappearing from view. Anyone else might have thought it was a ghost haunting the castle, DEBUG_HERO knew it was the apparition that stalked his sanity. Gritting his teeth, he forged ahead, irritation having replaced his contentment and satisfaction.

The duo entered the castle and began to explore for a way down into the inner recesses where the treasury would be. Eventually Talon found a way for them and they descended.

It was almost anti-climactic how easy it was to reach the treasury. They stood in front of the locked doors and looked at each other with shit-eating grins. They had done it.

"Talon, care to open the doors for us?" DEBUG_HERO asked with a dramatic sweeping bow.

"It's locked," she said.

"Unlock it then," DEBUG_HERO said.

"I don't know how," she said simply.

DEBUG_HERO blinked at her, "But I thought," he trailed off. He sighed. It was up to him to use what little skill he had gleaned from Sara growing up. He found himself missing his other companions.

After a few minutes of tinkering and much trial and error, DEBUG_HERO got the lock to click open. It was quickly followed by a clunk and Zip! DEBUG_HERO who had been listening intently to the clicking of the lock, noticed the odd noises in time to duck. An arrow embedded itself in Talon's collar.

"Fuck," Talon said before toppling over like a rag doll.

As DEBUG_HERO worked to removed the arrow from Talon, he noticed one of the other arrows that had flown had a greyish sticky substance on it.

"Poison," he muttered.
