The Photo Shoot

"Are you sure about this?" Chris asked his mother. Any other day he'd have no problem ditching class for a reason other than fighting crime, but today there were two major things bugging him; the escaped supervillains still at large, and the sketchiness of the thing he'd been dragged away for.

"Absolutely!" Laura replies, patting her son on the shoulder. "They're just pictures! And besides, this is Lindsay Lovelock, the girl that took those shots of me right after we started out. I know she's legitimate!"

Chris shrugged. He remembered those shots. Some turned up in the college paper, tame and heroic pictures with definite signs of talent on the photographer's part. Curious about her, since he'd always had a passing interest in photography, he looked up her online portfolio, where he found a few shots of his mother that were... less than saintly, albeit just as well executed. "I still think this is a bad idea," he says, suppressing a blush as he tries to push the picture of his mother's nipples poking through her tight spandex top out of his head, "but whatever, I'll go along with it."

They park some distance from their destination, found a spot to switch to their costumes, and made their way to the spot. There, Lindsay Lovelock, an attractive blonde with a dynamite figure and hair pulled back into a ponytail, greeted them. Chris - Accu-Lad - didn't like it. It was an abandoned warehouse in the old industrial sector of the city, sparsely populated. "Isn't it amazing?" the girl asks, laying an arm across Accu-Lad's shoulders and gesturing grandly at the locale before them. "Just like something out of a comic book or TV show - the abandoned factory where the hero rescues the damsel!" Accu-Lad nods in agreement. Just because it was a prime location for an ambush didn't mean she was wrong, after all.

The trio pick out a few spots in the warehouse and the college girl gets right to work. First single heroic pics, then some paired shots Laura - Mega-Mom - worked it naturally, as if modelling was an instinct. Accu-Lad fumbled through, but was assured his shots were fine.

"Great job you two!" Lindsay says with a sickly sweet smile. "Next I want to do something a little different..."
