The Party Aftermath

In the following weeks after your birthday party, it seem as if things are beginning to go back to normal between you and Natalie. When she first arrived, she made it clear that she was your teacher. However, she still treated you as a friend. It was different, but she was still nice to now. Now, it feel as if things has gone back to how it was before she went to college. She teases you during class in a friendly way and jokes around with you afterward. She clearly has no love for Olivia. Although you hope that doesn't make Olivia's life harder in her class.

Speaking of Olivia... Despite everything, Your relationship with her has been surprisingly stable. You had worried that the sudden reappearance of your closest female friend other than her would put a strain on your love life. Even though Natalie and Olivia do not get along, she has been about the same with you. With that said, if you want more out of your relationship with her you may want to step up your game.

As September ends, it isn't time to get comfortable just yet. You may have a comfortable relationship with Olivia and be on good terms with Natalie. There is plenty of time to improve things or make things worse. You still have eight months of your senior year yet, but at any point things may change dramatically. You walk a dangerous line between Natalie and Olivia and while there might seem like a truce. Looks might be deceiving and anything could cause an all out war. At worst, Natalie may ask the administration to send you to another class and Olivia may break up with you. If that happens, your senior year may be quite lonely indeed.
