The Party Aftermath

In the following weeks after your birthday party, it seem as if things are beginning to go back to normal between you and Natalie. When she first arrived, she made it clear that she was your teacher. However, she still treated you as a friend. It was different, but she was still nice to now. Now, it feel as if things has gone back to how it was before she went to college. She teases you during class in a friendly way and she seems almost flirtatious with you. She clearly has no love for Olivia. Although you hope that doesn't make Olivia's life harder in her class.

Speaking of Olivia...Your relationship with her has been pretty strained since Natalie came back. You had worried that the sudden reappearance of your closest female friend other than her would put a strain on your love life and it would seem as if that fear has come to realization. She has begun getting short-tempered with you and often sighs and rolls her eyes in class when Natalie jokes with you. This attitude has become prevalent outside of the classroom as well which is a clear warning sign that she isn't happy with the current situation.

As September ends, it isn't time to get comfortable just yet. Your friendship with Natalie might be beginning to bloom again, but it would seem as if your relationship with Olivia has begun to sour. You still have eight months of your senior year yet, but at any point things may change dramatically. The worst part is that if things continue the way they are with Olivia, she may break up with you. Should that happen, she might not ever speak with you again. That would seem at this point to be quite unfortunate for your love life.
