The Next Morning

You drive home and fall into your bed exhausted. Sleep finds you easily and you find yourself waking up in the early afternoon. You take your time getting dressed and conjuring yourself up a meal before you decide what to do with your day.

Your mom was still at the parking garage you had left her in. Who knows what the hobos could have done to her by now. Although you did have a wide range of new opportunities to test your powers out on and you could always come back for your mother later.
