The Nerves Kick in...?

Mackenzie stood in the middle of the field with her cheerleading squad, ready to perform in front of at least thousands of people. Mackenzie gulped as she looked up at the stadium where everyone was watching. She couldn’t help but feel so nervous, knowing that all their attention was on them. Mackenzie prayed that she wouldn’t mess up in her first performance. Of course, her team reassured her that she will do just fine and it’d be just fine since they practiced so many times. It helped a little, but not so much obviously.

Mackenzie stood in position, waiting for the song to drop. Her heart was pounding furiously out of her chest. Her knees shaky. Palms sweaty. And weirdly, her clothes felt awfully tight for some reason. Finally, Mackenzie heard the first beat of the music, and her body instinctively moved with the beat, just like she practiced.

Mackenzie was starting off well with her performance. But for some reason, she felt off. She was most definitely nervous, but that wasn't just it. For some reason, each movement she made felt heavier as each second passes by. Not only that, her cheerleading outfit felt even tighter as well. Her chest felt tightly squeezed by her shells top and her sports bra beneath. She could feel her hips stretch out the seams of her skirt. Her feet started to hurt as she kept dancing, feeling like she's wearing a shoe size smaller than she normally wears.

The redhead tried to ignore these weird feelings, brushing it off as her being nervous. But they were hard to ignore since it was absolutely uncomfortable and it's not like she's ever felt like this when she was nervous before. It was time for the "jump", when two of her strong teammates will throw her up in the air and catch her. As Mackenzie got into position, the girls tried to pick her up, but was having a hard time trying to lift her off the floor.

"Jesus Mackenzie!" One of her teammates yelled as she struggled to lift her up. Mackenzie was concerned how the girls were not able to lift her up. They were able to toss her up so many times with ease, but they were struggling to even lift her few inches off the ground. The two girls forcefully gave her toss, but managed to get only a few inches up in the air. It gets worse, attempting to catch Mackenzie, the two girl ended up collapsing as soon as Mackenzie fell into their arms, having all three of them fall to the floor.

"Aaaaccckkkk!!!" Mackenzie and the girls screamed.

"Mackenzie, what's wrong with you. Are you carrying something right now?" One of her teammates asked.

"Wait, is it just me or does Mackenzie kind of look different? Doesn't she look a little bigger" her other teammate asked.

Mackenzie sat up, confused of what her teammate had just said. But that wasn't her concern as of now. Her clothes felt unbearably tight at the point it was starting to hurt. Mackenzie looked down at herself to readjust her outfit, but she was surprised of what she had just discovered!
