The Naked Time Now

The Original Star Trek had the episode called "Naked Time" where a mutated water molecule caused people to become super-drink and spread like a virus. The Next Generation had a similar episode called "Naked Now". Of course, leaving a bunch of drinks on an advance spaceship meant that fatally stupid people were making the decisions.

So what if we modify it a little? Instead of being stupid drunk, they are just drink enough to do their jobs while making more poor life choices? Maybe a virus/chemical which lowers inhabitions and raises more of the fun we want?
