The Lollipop Interview

Audrey walks through the front doors of the bar and is immediately met by loud music, clattering glassware competing with loud chattering, and blaring televisions. Audrey had been in Lollipop before, although it had been years, this is since while the bar was 21+ only, they were a restaurant as well so she had actually ate there, but despite that she hadn't been there is a few years. While not much has changed she has to adjust to the new sensation of all the stimuli of everything going on.

Looking around she notices that while the whole building is packed with patrons, 90% were men. Typically there was more men than women although there seemed to be a much higher proportion tonight. Looking up at the televisions themselves Audrey notices some football match is going on, which most of the people were looking up at as they ate and drank.

Walking towards the bar from the front doors, Audrey had to push her way through the crowded floor, apologizing as she went, although she noted that a lot of guys looked over at her and checked her out up and down. She tried to not think about it too much as most of these guys had at least three if not more years on here.

Getting up to the front bar, Audrey looks up and down the bar of the length seeing no women at the bar, just men talking amongst themselves. Eventually she makes eye contact with the bartender who walks over and has to speak in a louder voice just to be heard less than two feet away by Audrey over the other patrons and noise.

"Aren't you a little young to be drinking?"

"Actually I'm here for... um... Jackson I think was his name, there was a job position." Audrey says thinking of the name, forgetting it for a moment.

"Oh um... give me one moment." The bartender says looking at Audrey realizing she is too young to be drinking, and probably doesn't know what she's getting herself into for the job. Nonetheless he walks through double doors behind the bar into a back room. A minute or so he walks back out, makes eye contact once again with Audrey and holds up a finger as to tell her 'give it a minute' as he walks away to take care of his patrons.

Audrey stands and waits for whatever is to come next, or for this Jackson guy to come out.

A few moments later a young man in a suit walks out, short black hair in a fade, clean cut. He looks around as he readjusts his suit and looks and meets eyes with Audrey, walking over to the bar where the bartender once was, he gives a genuine smile and speaks loudly as to be heard,

"Hello! Jackson, nice to meet you, care to talk in a backroom since it's so damn loud in here?" He says holding out a hand to shake Audrey's.

"Yeah absolutely!" Audrey says returning the smile and handshake.

Jackson waves for her to follow, he walks out from behind the bar and Audrey quickly follows and walks behind Jackson, trying to make her way through the crowd once again. They eventually go to a side door in the large room marked 'Staff Only'. Jackson pulls the door open and holds it open for Audrey to walk through, she does.

Jackson follows behind, closing the door behind him gently. Audrey can see its just an office like the one a principal would have at a school. Jackson moves and sits in the large chair behind the desk, adjusting a small nametag on the desk that says his name which is engraved in a polished gold piece of metal. He gestures for Audrey to sit down in one of the two chairs in front of the desk. Audrey sits in one of the chairs, placing her hands on her knees and sitting up, just like she learned in school to act at a job interview.

"I never got your name by the way." Jackson says, so far he seemed nice enough to Audrey.

"Audrey. I'm here because I saw a job ad at the cafe for an entertainment position or something." Audrey says in a clear tone.

"Oh you're here for the job position!" Jackson says with a surprised yet excited tone, "Great! You're hired."

"Wait what?!" Audrey says in shock, she didn't expect to be hired on the spot, he didn't know her background, Hell, he just learned her name.

"I said you're hired, you're still interested in the position right? Would you be able to start today? We could start training immediately if you're interested."

"Oh... um yeah yeah that works for me." Audrey says still a little confused although she didn't want to interrupt due to the possibility of losing the position, "The pay is still... rather high."

"Yeah, it's a well paying position, you also will be receiving tips, although those are unregulated and depends on your performance." Jackson replies without giving further detail.

"Oh okay." Audrey says thinking about what the Hell she's gonna be getting tipped for.

"I'll just have you fill out and sign this survey and waiver." Jackson says sliding across the table a clipboard with a pen and a single piece of paper with a questionnaire and line at the bottom to sign.

She looks over the survey answering the questions as she goes, although they were weird. Like 'describe your personality, have you had any previous sexual interactions if so how often and when was the last time?, favorite daily casual outfits." it was even asking her for her clothing sizes. She was confused, although could justify them as it was just for her uniform, asking about STD's for health reasons, and seeing how well she'd work with their team.

She quickly signs the bottoms after answering the questions and slides the clipboard with paper and pen back to Jackson who smiles reading over it.

"Okay and follow me this way." Jackson says standing and opening the door in a similar fashion to how he had before to another room. Audrey follows.
