The King

“Well this is quite the huge turn.”

“Father?” Zelda blushed.

The King silently hid away, contemplating on where to hide next. His royal guards pointed to the underground runes. They could watch what happens from the underground cave system.

He whispered, “There better not be an black market in there.” He looked suspiciously at some of his men.

He and his servants climbed down a ladder then locked the door.

“Uh, Link. Did you hear someone?” Zelda asked.

Link mentally had an image of the King making his entrance to this scene. He couldn’t fathom the King’s reaction on a date this shocking.

Link moved his shoulders upwards. He heard Zelda’s utter the royal title. He did not hear the King’s epic voice.

Zelda nodded. She assumed that it was her paranoia getting to her. After all, this travesty would be much worse if he somehow got involved.
