The King's Honor (Regis)

Among all the Shadow Hunters, one team is favored above all others by the King and his sons. This three person team is close knit even though their personalities and backgrounds are completely different.

Geldrik the Aegis:

Old enough to know why the dwarves left their underground homes, but young enough that he could not have been part of whatever it was. He has worked as a bodyguard, a blacksmith, a soldier, and finally a Shadow Hunter. No one under his care has ever come to harm, earning him the nickname "Aegis" from the King himself.

Like other dwarves, Geldrik refuses to speak of why the dwarves left their homes.

Rogue

Hair: short black ponytail

Age: 29

Sex: Male

Race: Human

Group: Shadow Hunters

Weapons: magic cards and dice

Magic: skilled in most forms

Quote: "Hey monsters care for a game? Dealers choice is playing card roulette!"

Like Moseph, Rogue normally uses his magic through some sort of enchanted item. Rogue's item of choice is rune inscribed cards and dice. He fights like he gambles, hoping his luck will hold out. Laid back and rarely excited over anything other than a great hand, he is often thought of as a fool when he is actually quite intelligent.

Where Moseph's staves burn out quickly, Rogue's cards rarely need to be replaced because his magic is on a much more normal level.

Trina Mistfield

Hair: light red

Age: 23

Race: Human

Group: Shadow Hunters

Weapons: Dagger and Alchemic magic

Magic: Alchemy

Quote: "A dash of this, a pinch of that and we have a mixture that can burn through anything but lasts for only a few moments. Highly volatile but worth the risk."

Alchemy is as much magic as it is science. Alchemists pour small amounts of magic into their mixtures, giving the amazing results boost based on how strong the Alchemist is.

Like most Alchemists, Trina sells many of her potions for extra cash, but her more dangerous concoctions are kept for her use while on jobs with Geldrik and Rogue. She refuses to work with any other team and Geldrik is quite happy to have the young woman along anytime.

She has some healing magic but her alchemy can heal much better than the few spell she knows.
