Chapter 3 by Progenitor Progenitor

Vote in Comments: Go to the Jet, or go to the Saucer!

The Jet

Julie pushed the car to its limit as she barreled down the long stretch of straight, flat highway. The saucer could wait, she decided; as fantastical as it was, there was a live human in that jet and he needed her help. The plume of smoke marked the point where it had crash landed and so she drove on until the road came up nearly parralel with her target before easing the car off the side of the road and crawling through packed sand and decicated dirt toward the aircraft.

The saucer glowed green in the falling night some half mile away or so.

She stopped short of the wreckage and jumped out of the car, pulling her sun hat tight before slowly trotting toward the objective. A desert breeze blew, menacing the hem of her skirt which she kept pushed down with one hand.

"Hello!?" she shouted as she approached, slowing, looking around. There was no signs of life at first until a foot pushed the jet's cabin open and someone toppled down the wreckage and landed on the ground with a resounding thud. "Hello! Are you alright!?"

No answer. The figure struggled to right itself. Julie picked her pace back up.

She noticed that his figure was petite, feminine as she neared... And then the pilot drew off their helmet, and a woman's face looked back at her.

"Oh uh... But are you hurt?" Julie said, stopping over her. The other woman looked annoyed up at her.

"How could I not be hurt?" The pilot asked. "Smashed my tits on the console when I came down. We have to get out of here."

Julie looked over her shoulder, back at the car.

"I drove."

"Well I'd hope you weren't out here aimlessly wandering." Pilot remarked.

"What about the saucer?" Julie asked.

The pilot bit her lip.
