Chapter 3

Who do you find?
The Hero of the Underground, Seele
Something tickled off your senses. A load of electrical activity is going way below the surface of this planet. An underground city? A different civilisation underneath? More importantly, strange signals were emitting from specific locations. It was unlike the antique machines most places are outfitted with. It was...more akin to the machines back in your time. No, possibly more advanced. Good. Good. It will be used as a conduit for now. Now focusing on these specific signals, you pinpointed a few from both above ground and under. Even one from the Office of the Supreme Guardian of Belobog. But no, too much. Too dangerous to infiltrate. For now, the underground will do- Your electrical body suffered another shock. You are failing even more, you mustn't delay much longer. Off you go.
Finding yourself down in the underground was quite fascinating. As much as you cannot see through anything at all, you can tell that lights have been sprawling around this whole place, powered by Geomarrow. Ingenious, how people, when fighting for survival, can do so much- Stop distracting yourself. Focus on the goal. You would prefer an automaton body rather than pure electrical energy, but for some reason, all automatons here have been weirdly locked out from you. More to investigate later. Right now, there are two of these signatures. Oh, which to pick? One is in an isolated area with barely any electronics around. The other was surrounded by electronics which are decades behind them. Taking a gamble, you went for the former. As you got closer, you were able to analyse the device you were drawn to. Oh? A smartphone? Given the current technology level from your surroundings, it is unlikely that this originated from them. More than likely, it was a gift from some visitors with more advanced technology, and thus gave a few of these devices to their companions. Lucky you then, it's not some ordinary person with a smartphone. Without hesitation, your consciousness zapped from the phone to the arm of its user, then the head, and everything went black.
After what felt like eternity, you finally stirred from your unintended slumber, your eyes facing the dirt floor, and a skull-splitting headache to add on. Right, human body. Fleshy and unreliable, very unlike cold and hardened steel, but it will surface for now as a suitable host. You have coordinated Automaton Direwolfs before; the proportions may be different, but both are, nonetheless, bipedal. Similarly to how you would have commanded Direwolfs back in the day, you planted both of your hands on the floor, both of which are considerably slim, yet still strong, and pushed yourself up into a sitting position, coordinating your legs to get into a half-kneeling position. So far, so good. Next, with one hand pushing against your thigh and the other against the ground, you attempted to lift yourself--And almost fell again.
You glanced at your own feet and realised the reason for your failure. Heels. She is wearing heels, just great. Wobbling back up, you took a few shaky steps, not knowing how to walk in them. The proportions are also weird, your center mass have been greatly shifted by your....breasts, making you unable to see your feet at all. Admittedly, her.....bust isn't exactly big, but the inability to see where your feet is, combined with the clunky heels is going to be a pain in the ass.....Why are you swearing? That was...weird. Swearing is not programmed into your systems. It must be....Ah, the host brain. That would make sense. Naturally, with you occupying her brain, all the memories, knowledge, etc, would come to you eventually, which also includes her habits, which will...while an annoyance, will allow you not to be exposed anytime soon.
You continued to test your body, moving around awkwardly, flexing your fingers. The heels are a definite obstacle, but it is slowly becoming more natural, no doubt because of the habit hypothesis you made earlier. Still, her mind is a mess to navigate and glean any information from, akin to a locked box. Bargh, organics....And again, with that behaviour. This is going to take some time to get used to.
Your feet hit against something, clattering it against the floor. Oh right, your phone and a....Is that a scythe? There in its full glory, your host's preferred weapon of choice. A long main blade and an opposite shorter blade protruding from its long hilt, a gun barrel jutting out inbetween the two, it was a wonderful gift from Sampo. Sampo. Ah, a new name. From her memories, he seems to be...a shady individual, no doubt likely an underground dealer. She has a negative opinion of him. You grabbed the scythe, gingerly holding it. Something about it triggered a response in you. With barely any hesitation, the scythe vanished in your hands, but you know it is not permanently gone. With a simple thought of wanting it, the scythe reappeared in your hands once again, aligned perfectly for a quick attack. Interesting. With a wrist flick to make the scythe dematerialise, you reached down again to grab the phone, checking it carefully on its condition.
