Chapter 15 by SergeantPepper SergeantPepper

The Haunting of Aerith

Aerith shivered, wrapping her arms around herself as much because of the cold as her nudity. She walked in among the trains, keeping a careful eye out. There didn't seem to be anything out there. There was a thin mist, and several abandoned trains, but nothing moved.

She started to relax. A minute later and she felt something cold brush by her again, trailing down her back. Aerith yelped.

She span around, but didn't see anything. She swallowed. When she exhaled, her breath was visible. Carefully, she moved on, coming to a door.

Something rattled. She definitely heard that. Much more nervously now, Aerith reached for the door, hesitating as she touched the handle. Taking a deep breath, she opened it.

The noise stopped. Aerith stared. She was sure she'd heard something behind it, but as soon as the door opened onto a huge new space, there was no sign of anything. Just the empty station and abandoned trains.

Aerith took a step inside. A cold wind ran up her legs, circling each, and making her squeak as it brushed past her crotch. Aerith batted at the air with her hands, flailing and jiggling madly as she tried to ward off whatever was doing it.

"This place really is haunted," she said. Uncomfortably, she looked around.

She started walking a bit faster, slowing only when she had to work out where she wanted to go. It wasn't easy to navigate the tumbled-down area.

When she stopped, she felt a phantom touch again, something cold and much more distinct pressing against her ass. She screamed again, but turned around to see nothing.

She heard what she was sure was laughter fading off onto the distance though. Aerith blushed.

"Stop that!" the red-faced flower girl said indignantly.

No response came back.

Tentatively, Aerith kept walking.
