The Guardian Program (New Law)

It was ridiculous. Everyone was shocked when The Guardian Program passed. The law makers who passed it said that it was important to make sure that women would be better prepared to one day be mothers and that it'd help guys everywhere get more used to living with women once their married. Everyone thought that was bullshit. Though it was only women that cared. Guys were excited by the new law.

The Guardian Program made it so that every women once 20, would have to live with a guy for a year and act as their guardian. There was even a full list of rules and things that they had to do during that year. The entire law didn't make sense. Most women wouldn't even want to raise a kid for several more years! And the guys they were forced to live with? They were at least 18. In other words, they wouldn't even be getting any normal experience raising someone! They'd just be stuck living and dealing with a random guy that would gladly perv on them and legally would be allowed to do it!

With a sigh, Sarah checked her email hoping that whoever she was forced to take of wouldn't be perverted... or older than her. Having to take care of someone around her age would be weird enough. Having to take care of someone ten years older would be even creepier. Though the law makers said they would pair people based on age, occupation, and more so she had a feeling she wouldn't have to worry about that last part at least.
