The Ghoul Dies
The Ghoul pulled out of Madeline suddenly. His ghostly features turned even more white, as if that were even possible. Madeline looked in horror as the Ghoul clutched at his shoulder, then his chest. He coughed and sputtered something incoherent. Then collapsed on the bed. He was non-responsive. Madeline checked him for a pulse. And found none. He was dead.
