The Food Court

Lex decided she needed to refuel, so she headed toward the food court. She grabbed some cheap Chinese food and a table and started into her meal. As she ate, she could hear people chatting. One conversation in particular stuck out, though.

"Come on, hurry up and eat. I wanna hit the field and get some practice in before it gets too dark."

"Chill, we'll be fine. Besides, your one of the best hitters we have. You'll kill it at the tournament next week, man."

"Still gotta practice, bro."

They were talking about... probably baseball? That seemed like it could be fun. Not that Lex had been into sports before, but now...? Shaking her head as she finished her meal, Lex knew she was pretty much done here. She could head home and wrap the quest up, or she could approach these guys and see if she could join them.
