The Fighting Game

You think the fighting game is the best choice. You and Melody are fairly rusty at it after not playing for a year, and even then the two of you were about 50/50 in wins, so it should give you a fair advantage.

“You ready to have your ass kicked, Melody?” you say while you begin to move toward the fighting game.

Melody follows, “Yeah! But your ass is about to be the one who's kicked!” She exclaims as the two of you arrive at the machine. You insert enough money to get the game started for the two of you, and you hit the start button.

The character select screen pops up and you choose your characters. You go for the your favorite character, a small scrawny boxer who's fast and has good combos, but sucks in the air, while Melody selects a tall woman with extra thick legs who has an all around fighting style.

You do remember when you were younger, Melody told you while playing an earlier version of the game, she wanted to have legs as strong as hers. She eventually came to the conclusion she didn't want legs as buff, but the exercise regime she went through (and still does) has made her already sexy legs even more sexy.

The first round easily goes to Melody, the combination of the different controls and the lack of playing the game for a year, kept you from really remembering any of your guy's moves. Melody, however, had somehow had practice over the time the two of you hadn't seen each other, and managed to knock you out within the first 20 seconds of the match.

The second match went in your favor. You had gotten somewhat use to the controls, and you finally remembered your characters moves. It took most of the match, but you managed to KO Melody's character.

As the machine loads up the final round, you mentally begin to prepare for it.
