The Evil Within

As Supergirl flies through the sky with June in her arms, a sudden beam of green energy fires out from the ground below and strikes Supergirl. The Girl of Steel screams out and begins to descend quickly as she is weakened by the beam. As she is about to hit the ground, she turns her body in an attempt to protect June from the impact. The crash is rough and Supergirl loses hold of June ash she tumbles across the sandy plains. Supergirl lays there, stunned for a moment, before she pushes her body up with her weakened arm, but she is suddenly pushed back down by a metal foot on her back.

"Supergirl." A cold, metallic voice speaks, "I was hoping it was you."

Supergirl turns her head and looks up to see a man made of metal, his chest glowing green from his kryptonite heart. "Metallo." She says with a grunt, "Now is really not the time for your petty nonsense."

Metallo flips Supergirl over with his foot so that she is facing up at him, "Petty nonsense? I was turned into this monstrosity because Superman left me to die! There is nothing petty about vengeance!" He points his hand toward the helpless Kryptonian and it turns into a cannon as his kryptonite heart begins to glow brighter, "I lost my wife because she was terrified of my new form! I lost everything because Superman couldn't be bothered to save me! Now, I'll make sure he loses everything as we--AAaaAGGGhHh!" He screams out in pain as a blast of energy strikes him from behind.

Supergirl looks over to the source of the blast and sees June standing with her arm out, a green shimmer fluctuates up and down her body as it transforms. The girl's blonde hair turns red, her blue eyes change to green, and her drab outfit changes to a tight fitting, green garb with a hooded cloak. There is an atypical confidence on her face as her finger tips glow with green energy. She raises her hand and Metallo helplessly floats in the air before a flash of green light consumes him and he is turned into a metal kryptonite-powered vibrator. "That's a much better look on you." She says with a devious smirk as she walks over and grabs the sentient vibrator.

"June?" Supergirl says as she groggily rises to her feet, still weakened by the kryptonite blast.

"Not quite. She's still here watching and listeneing," She points to her head, "but I'm in control for now. You can call me Enchantress."

Supergirl also notices that June's American accent has changed to a Romanian accent. "So you're possessing her? Is she unharmed?" Supergirl asks with concern.

Enchantress smiles, "June is perfectly safe. She summoned me to save you. She's got quite the infatuation with you. You should hear the salacious thoughts she's had about you in just this short time." The magical woman looks over Supergirl's petite body, "And I can't really blame her. You are quite delectable." She bites her lip.

A look of nervousness crosses Supergirl's face, "No offense, but I'd like to talk to June now."

Enchantress shakes her head, "I'm afraid that's not going to happen. You see, I care about June and sometimes she needs my....expertise to get what she needs and if her thoughts are anything to go by, she desperately needs you." Enchantress lifts Supergirl up in the air with her mind, "Don't worry, I know you'll like where this is going."
