The Enchanter, The Futa, and The Giantess
"You gave Soulina this tattoo, right?" Tiffany asked gesturing to Soulina's lily. The man looked slightly annoyed. "Well, I did just say I remembered her didn't I?" He responded. Tiffany folded her arms and gave the man somewhat of a staredown. In response, the man sighed. "Yes. I gave her the tattoo," He relented.
The man stood up out of the leather chair. "Allow me to introduce myself," The tattoo man said before bowing with one arm across his chest. Tiffany had a feeling this guy had lost some of his marbles. "My normal name is Grant, but you may call me Orick just as all that know me do," Orick said looking up and showing a creepy smile. Yup. Tiffany could tell this guy was definitely a little crazy.
"Hi again Orick," Soulina said with a bubbly tone waving her hand. Orick motioned removing his hat and holding it to his chest even though he wasn't wearing one. "A pleasure once again, Mrs. Soul," Orick replied. Tiffany could only think to shake her head.
"Okay, Orick. I want to know what this tattoo you gave Soulina is and how it works," Tiffany stated bluntly. Orick seemed to smile another creepy smile upon hearing Tiffany's demand. "Ah, no dancing around the subject, eh?" He asked. "Very well, I can appreciate someone who wants to get straight to the point," Orick said. Tiffany breathed a sigh of relief in her head. At least this guy wasn't going to lead them on some wild goose chase. Right?
Before Tiffany could further consider her thoughts Orick spoke again. "Well, long story short; I am a practiced enchanter. However, my enchantments are specifically for the human body. Or tattoos as you know them," Orick explained. Everything made sense thus far to Tiffany. "And, I run this here shop to give others enchantments for a low price," Orick continued. "But, you don't tell them it's magic and give them whatever enchantment you feel like," Tiffany said butting in. Orick looked slightly offended at the interruption. "Ah, I suppose you are slightly correct. A part of the price is rolling the dice and leaving it up to chance," Orick admitted speaking through his creepy smile.
"Hasn't anyone ever told you it's rude to interrupt someone whilst they're speaking?" Orick asked with a slightly malicious tone. But before Tiffany could respond Soulina spoke up. "Yes, my mother taught me that," She said smiling. It would seem Soulina was trying to spare Tiffany from an argument with this guy. "Yes, yes. Of course Mrs. Soul. You have proper manners," Orick said relenting the passive-aggressive attempt at starting an argument.
"Also, the last thing you should know about me is that anyone who comes into my shop is obligated to pay the price," Orick said mischievously with an even bigger smile than before. Then Orick's eyes started to faintly glow becoming a solid red color. Tiffany didn't like the sound or the look of this. "What do you..." Tiffany started to say but was cut off. Suddenly everything when white. Tiffany could hear Soulina shriek. "It only seems fair that you interrupted me so I'll interrupt you, Mrs. Tiffany," Orick said somewhere in the distance. Tiffany couldn't tell exactly where he was as his voice was distant and all around her at the same time. And, it didn't help with the fact that she couldn't see.
The next thing Tiffany knew she was back in the alley where they found the store. Her eyes were slowly adjusting to the daylight causing her to blink rapidly a few times. When she could finally see again the first thing she noticed was her hand. There on the back of her hand sat a new tattoo. A tattoo of what looked like a feminine version of a joker, just like the joker you would see in a deck of cards. Tiffany then looked up at where she remembered the store being and the only thing that remained was a solid brick wall. There was no sign of anything from before. The door, the sign, the small shop window, it was all gone.
Tiffany nearly forgot about Soulina, when she turned to her left, and there lay Soulina. She was laying on her side back to Tiffany seemingly knocked out. "Soulina!" Tiffany heard herself exclaim.
