The D&D Multiverse

D&D, Dungeons and Dragons: not a 'world' or even 'universe' but rather a "Multiverse" thousands-upon-thousands of different planets and 'prime material planes' bound by common threads of their ongoing meta-narrative and rule-sets. Here this sort of thing is, TBPH, not even _that_ uncommon, but there are precious few published worlds where '' could be considered anything but an Evil act...

Few, but _not_ "None", the question is; does our protagonist come from such a world, and if they don't, what are they going to _do_ about it?

Before we can answer that question though, we have to know what D&D world EXACTLY, the character who was given these powers was on, and who they are as an individual, in that order.
