The Broken Tower

He looked at the old ruin. Climbing it always made him feel better.

"I never managed to climb the whole thing like you." Bran snapped around to see Arya behind him. He felt embarassed for some reason. An awkward silence started to sink in. There was never a moment he couldn't recall where he actively tried to avoid her gaze.

"So I defeated Jon like you asked, now you must keep your end of the deal." The Stark mustered enough courage to ask.

"Must I now?" She began mockingly. "Strange, I distinctively remember you being flat on your back today."

"That was a dishonourable move! It didn't count!" The lad tried defending himself. Surely, Arya would understand his point, right?

"Is that what Prince Rhaegar told the king when he was defeated at the Trident?" Seven hells! He cursed mentally.

"I-I..." Bran stuttered. Somehow, getting knocked by Jon felt less painful than that.

"You make it so easy to tease you, Bran." She chuckled. He didn't know if he should be frustrated. Arya's hand enveloped his. It feltso soft and smooth.

"But I guess I can give you some reward for being so honourable." She said provocatively. Bran felt his heart beating just a bit faster. His sister darted inside the tower, dragging him along.

The old ruin was abandoned, the vines already claiming the insides of the structure. Arya looked around as if to make sure no one was there with them.

Letting go of him she asked:

"So, what is it going to be?"
