The Beast

Brad's pager began beeping. It was Mr. Mullins, of course. There was a disturbance in Theater Seven; Brad should check on it.

Brad hurried down to the problem theater; "Little Children" was playing. Brad entered the darkened theater; there was only about 20 people watching the movie; it wasn't going to stick around long. Brad immediate heard the problem.

A young couple were arguing; well, the guy was yelling and the woman was crying and calling the guy foul names. Brad approached the couple. Luckily, they were sitting at the end of an aisle.

"Excuse me," Brad always tried to be polite, "there have been complaints. You need to take this outside."

"Fine!" The guy was obviously angry. He got up from his seat and pulled the woman up. Brad immediately noticed, even in the dim light of the movie, that she was very pregnant. The guy was being way too rough.

The man began pulling her up the aisle toward the exit. "Sir," Brad grabbed his arm, "I think you're hurting her."

"Shit," the man let her go, "you care about her - she yours!" He turned and stormed out of the theater. The woman hurried up the aisle as fast as she could. Brad, worried, followed her closely.

By the time Brad and the woman reached the outside hallway, the man was gone. The woman began sobbing. Brad reached out to comfort her.

"God, damn it!" She sobbed into Brad's chest, "he promised he would marry me! Now I find out he's been balling my best friend and his secretary. "I'm such a fool!"

In spite of the situation, Brad couldn't help notice that the woman was beautiful. She looked about 22, with wavy, shoulder-length, red hair and big round boobs that strained the top of her light-weight jumper. The lower part of her dress was pushed up by her belly - Brad guessed she was about six or seven months pregnant.

"Would you like to sit down and rest?" Brad gently eased the woman across the hallway toward a small meeting room. Brad Knew that the room contained a table and chairs, a small couch, and a restroom. He unlocked the door and ushered the woman into the room. She was still sobbing. Brad held her to comfort her.

"Oh, hell!" She sighed between sobs. Brad was taken by surprise when the woman grabbed him around the back, pulled him close, and kissed him hard on the mouth.
