The Basics

I head home so I can experiment with the book a little bit. Sitting here reading the current page it details everything I’ve done since leaving the park, including sitting here reading the current page.

I test a few ideas. Crossing out passages which have already happened doesn’t make any difference. So I know I can’t go back and change the past. At least not that way.

I have to be specific when I write things down. It turns out I can teleport to the other side of the room just by writing that in the book. But I need to specify that I teleport with my clothes. I’m glad I found that little nugget of information out in private.

I can change my body. Stupidly, I don’t know why, I tested this by doubling the size of my hands. It was very difficult to hold the pen to change them back on the next page. Whatever I do I need to remember to make sure I can always hold a pen. I can change myself into a hot girl with big breasts. That was a fun few hours. I can make myself look like a famous person. I might even be able to become a famous person, but I don’t know how far-reaching the effects of that kind of thing might be so I haven’t tried it yet.

I don’t know yet how other people will react to things I change. If I turn myself into a girl or if I suddenly become super-handsome, do people who know me know that I’ve changed, or do they think I’ve always been the same? I guess I can write specifics down, but I can’t cover everybody.

I’ll need to be careful working this all out, but I think I’ve covered some of the basics. Maybe I’ll start small.
