The Attention Dimension

"So it's a dimension where everyone pays attention to me?"

"Kind of," said the other Summer, cautiously. She was standing in Summer's bedroom, having just emerged from a portal. "Anyway, we should swap places for a while. That would be, like, a really great idea."

"But why would you want to leave such a great dimension?"

"Just, you know, for fun. Sometimes I like... not having attention?"

"Okay. I won't question that. See you in a few days!"

"Yep. I'll definitely open the portal back up in a few days. That'll happen." The other Summer watched as Summer jumped through the portal, then dropped her stolen portal gun on the ground and stomped on it until it shattered into a hundred little pieces. She swept the pieces under the bed and took a look around the room. "Not bad. Hey, what is this, the gullibility dimension?"

Original Summer took a look around. The room looked just like hers, but she knew it was different. This was the dimension where everyone paid attention to her, all the time. Apparently it was like a **** of nature, singling her out and making everyone look her way. The Summer Attention Dimension. Sounded pretty cool to her. Time to see what life was like as one of the popular kids.
