The sounds of giggling by the mall's fountain draw her attention and she spots two Asian girls sitting by the fountain, both of them staring at her and laughing.

Trying to fight down the embarrassment, Karen reaches down and pulls off her second heel, feeling weird to be stood in the middle of a mall with no shoes on, especially having just accidentally flashed a pair of teenagers.

"Now we really need to get to the clothing store," she says tersely to the boy, "come along Bradley."

She grabs his hand, marching towards the clothing store and you ponder what more fun you can have.
